What is the date and location of the wedding?
Our wedding will take place on Saturday June 22nd, 2024 at Crested Hen Farms in High Falls, NY.
The venue is a small working farm located at the base of the Mohonk Mountain and nestled in the banks of the Rondout Creek in the heart of New York’s Hudson Valley.
We are looking forward to celebrating in the rustic elegance of a restored 1830’s era barn, alongside the several crested hens that live on the farmland and give it it’s name.

What is the order of events?
The ceremony will begin at 5:30pm. We ask that guests arrive at 5 pm to allow everyone time to settle in.
Following a cocktail hour, dinner and dancing, the reception will ultimately conclude at 11pm, and all guests must be off the property by midnight.
All are invited across the street to an after-party following the reception.

How to get to Kingston hotels?
The most common way to get to Kingston is by car. Kingston is conveniently located off of the New York Thruway, Exit 19. Kingston is approximately 90 miles from New York City, 64 miles from Albany, 156 miles from Boston, and 247 miles from Montreal.
Below are our suggestions for traveling from NYC to Kingston if you are flying in to any of the major tristate airports (or you live in NYC and do not wish to drive):

Train Station (Rhinecliff, NY station or Poughkeepsie, NY station)

Will there be a shuttle provided to and from the hotels?
Yes, we’re pleased to offer roundtrip shuttle service from Kingston, NY to the venue for the convenience of our guests. The shuttle will be available to all guests, regardless of whether you are staying at the hotel block. Please note whether you intend to take the shuttle when you RSVP, so we can accommodate everyone accordingly.

Return Trips:
From Venue - 10:30pm
From Afterparty (across the street from venue): 11:50pm, 1:15am
There is valet parking available at the venue if you wish to drive yourself to the event.
Please note Uber is available in the area, but cell service may be unreliable. We will also have phone numbers for local taxi services on hand.

What is the dress code?
The dress code will be semi-formal. For gentlemen, semi-formal attire typically consists of a suit and tie. For ladies, cocktail dresses or chic separates are appropriate choices.
As we embrace the rustic beauty of our barn venue, please consider appropriate footwear. This will ensure your comfort and safety as we dance the night away under the stars.

What are the details for the farewell brunch?
All guests are invited to join us for an informal farewell brunch back at Crested Hen from 10am to Noon the morning after the wedding.

Can I bring a plus one?
We kindly request that only guests who have been specifically named on the invitation attend the wedding.

Are children invited to the wedding?
We kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only affair.
